The demand for prescription glasses in Brunei is set to dramatically fall in the next five years. From 2021 to 2026, Bruneian Prescription Glasses Imports are projected to drop by 38.8% year on year. This follows an impressive 19.7% yearly rise since 1997. Exports of prescription glasses from Brunei also saw impressive growth. In 2018, exports came in at $154 million, up from $58 million the previous year - an increase of 167%. This trend has continued since 2018, with year on year growth of 80.8%.
