Belarus experienced a sharp drop in import of prescription glasses from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, the country imported $321,600 worth of glasses, but this figure dropped to just $14,500 the following year. This put Belarus in 53rd place on the global rankings, with Oman overtaking to take 52nd place with $14,500. India, Hungary and the Dominican Republic were the top three importers of the eyewear.
