Ethiopian demand for bitumen is forecast to reach 97 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 2.1% per year since 2021, when 84.6 million kilograms was imported. Since 2000, Ethiopia has seen an average annual growth rate of 4.3%. While the country was ranked seventh in 2021, Costa Rica overtook it with 84.6 million kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
