Swiss exports of benzene are set to reach 15,210 kilograms by 2026, a 4.2% annual growth from the 11,650 kilograms seen in 2021. Since 1993, Swiss supply has skyrocketed by 55.1%. The country ranked 36th in 2021, with Slovenia coming ahead of them with 11,650 kilograms. India, Germany and Japan took the next three spots in the ranking. Imports of benzene to Switzerland have also seen a dramatic increase, reaching 1,850 kilograms in 2019 from 254.31 kilograms the year before, a 629% jump. Since 1993, however, demand has decreased by 3.9% year-on-year. The country was 51st in 2019, with Algeria taking the lead at 1,850 kilograms. The United States, Belgium and the Netherlands followed in the ranking.
