Czech benzene exports are set to decline at an average rate of 5.7% year on year between 2021 and 2026, from 27.8 million kilograms in 2021 to 20.1 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1998, exports have increased by 670.7%. In 2021, the country ranked 25th in global exports of benzene, behind Romania which exported 27.8 million kilograms. India, Germany and Japan were the other top exporters, respectively ranked 2, 3 and 4. Czech benzene demand has declined by 0.1% year on year since 1998. In 2019, the country came in 14th in global imports with 10.2 million kilograms, behind Singapore which imported 101.6 million kilograms. The United States, Belgium and the Netherlands were the other top importers, respectively ranked 2, 3 and 4.
