Emirati benzene exports are expected to reach 61 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 3.4% on average each year since 2021, when the country's supply was 49.5 million kilograms. Since 2012, the country has seen a 73.7% year-on-year growth in its supply. In 2021, the UAE was ranked 20th in the world for benzene exports, while Italy took the top spot with 49.5 million kilograms. India, Germany and Japan were second, third and fourth respectively in the ranking. However, since 2012, Emirati demand has dropped 54.6% year on year.
