Demand has been steadily increasing since 2005, with an average annual growth rate of 1%. Exports of ethanol from China are predicted to drop 1.2% in 2028, to 93.51 million litres. This is a decrease from 94.68 million litres in 2027. Since 1995, supply has decreased by an average of 0.2% per year.
