Singapore's animal feed export is projected to decline to approximately 85.9 million kilograms by 2028, down from about 90.2 million kilograms in 2023. This represents a 0.8% annual decrease in compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Despite this downturn, the nation's supply has seen a 4.8% annual increase since 1994. In 2023, Singapore ranked 31st in global animal feed exports, with Australia surpassing it by matching Singapore's 2023 export volume of 90.2 million kilograms. Leading the pack were Germany, Belgium, and the United States, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the import side, Singapore's animal feed intake is also expected to drop, reaching around 13.1 million kilograms by 2028 from an estimated 16 million kilograms in 2023. This translates to an annual average decline of 3.2%. However, Singapore's demand for animal feed has increased modestly by 0.2% annually since 1994.
