Saudi Arabias millet consumption is estimated to reach 15,870 metric tons by 2026, a decrease of 1% compared to 2021. Since 2017, the country has seen an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. In comparison, Benin led the rankings in 2021, with 17,000 metric tons consumed. It was followed by Niger, Nigeria and Mali in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian millet production is expected to reach 12,660 metric tons by 2026, a growth of 2.1% year-on-year since 1966. The country ranked 45 in 2021, with Austria in first place at 11,170 metric tons. Nigeria, China and Mali were second, third and fourth in the rankings.
