Bulgaria's polystyrene import is set to reach 14 million kilograms by 2026, according to a report. The average annual growth rate is 2 percent, with demand having jumped by nearly 4 percent since 2001. Meanwhile, polystyrene exports from Bulgaria dropped by 71 percent in 2021, from 53,000 kilograms in 2020. Since 2001, the country's supply of the product has fallen by 46 percent. In 2021, Bulgaria ranked 57th in polystyrene exports, with Cambodia coming in ahead with 15,600 kilograms. China, the Netherlands and France respectively were numbers two, three and four in this ranking.
