Mexico imported sheep for $12.7 million in 2015, up from $2.9 million in 2014. This placed Mexico 17th, behind Russia which imported sheep for $12.7 million. Qatar, Kuwait and Israel followed in the rankings. Mexico exported sheep for $7.3 million in 2015, compared to $613,000 the previous year. This made Mexico 58th, behind Lesotho which exported sheep for $7.3 million. Spain, Australia and Jordan were the next three countries on the list.
