Malian sheep imports grew 46% in 2017 compared to the year before, reaching a total of $861 million. This was up from $590 million in 2016. Exports of Malian sheep decreased by 38.5% in 2017, totalling $70.6 million. That figure was down from $114.9 million in 2016. However, since 2001, the supply of Malian sheep has increased by 22% year on year.
