Irish imports and exports of sheep have seen a dramatic decrease in 2021. Imports dropped by 28.6% from $885,650 to $632,300, with Ghana overtaking Ireland to take the 37th spot. Since 1997, Irish demand has fallen by an average of 19.5% year on year. Meanwhile, exports of sheep are set to reach $386,610 by 2026, down from $1,987,100 in 2021, a year-on-year average rate of 25.9%. This marks a decrease of 2.2% since 1997. Kuwait overtook Ireland to take the 23rd spot, with Spain, Australia and Jordan following in the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
