Greek sheep exports are expected to dip slightly in the coming years, reaching $1.1 million by 2026. This is a decrease of 4.1% compared to 2021, when the country was ranked 28th in the world. Croatia led the way then with $1.4 million. Spain, Australia and Jordan followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Greek sheep imports are set to increase slightly in the coming years, reaching $25.2 million by 2026. This is a rise of 1% compared to 2021, when Lebanon overtook the country to become the 12th-biggest importer. Qatar, Kuwait and Israel followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Since 1993, Greek demand for sheep has increased by 10.1% year on year.
