Indian sheep exports are projected to reach approximately $3.4 million by 2026. This is an increase of 2.6% each year on average since 2021, when the value of exports was $2.9 million. This is a decrease from 1998, when exports were 23.6% lower than the current level. In 2021, India ranked 17th in the world for sheep exports, behind South Africa at $2.9 million. Spain, Australia and Jordan were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
