In 2018, Namibia imported a total of 10,000 kilograms of potash, a 1,360% increase from the 669.9 kilograms imported in 2017. This demand has grown 13.2% annually since 2005. Namibia ranked 107th in the world for potash supply, behind Seychelles, which imported 9,800 kilograms. Belgium, France, and Malaysia were the top three importers, respectively. Since 2010, however, Namibia's supply has decreased by 36.2% each year.
