France came in fifth place in 2021, with the United States leading the way with 96.5 million kilograms. South Korea, the United States and France respectively came in second, third and fourth place. France's potash import is forecast to reach around 61 million kilograms by 2026, increasing by an average of 1.4% a year since 2021. This is a decrease from 58 million kilograms recorded in 1999. France placed third in 2021, with Belgium taking the lead with 56 million kilograms. Belgium, France and Malaysia respectively ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
