Spain is set to import 19 million kilograms of potash by 2026, according to recent projections. This marks a 2% year-on-year growth from 17.2 million kilograms in 2021. Since 1994, the country's demand for potash has grown at a rate of nearly 3% each year. In 2021, Spain ranked 15th in the world for potash imports, behind Norway, which imported 17.2 million kilograms. Belgium, France and Malaysia were the next highest importers, respectively.
