Dutch imports of potash are set to reach nearly 48 million kilograms by 2026, rising 0.6% annually since 2021. The Netherlands was the fifth-largest importer of the commodity in 2021, with 46.7 million kilograms. Malaysia, Belgium, France and the United States followed, in that order. Since 1997, Dutch potash imports have declined by 30.7% each year. In 2018, the Netherlands was seventeenth in the world rankings, with 3.4 million kilograms. Japan was the largest importer, followed by South Korea, the United States and France.
