Bulgarian potash export is on the rise, with a forecast of 83,260 kilograms by 2026, an increase of 2.7% year on year. Since 2001, Bulgarian supply has jumped by 36.9%. Hungary overtook Bulgaria in 2021 at 71,100 kilograms, and South Korea, the United States and France ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. In terms of import, however, Bulgarian potash is on the decline. 182,120 kilograms are forecast for 2026, a decrease of 3.4% year on year. Since 2001, demand has decreased by 6.3%. Guatemala came ahead of Bulgaria in 2021 at 222,710 kilograms, while Belgium, France and Malaysia ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
