Imports are set to reach 17.6 million kg by 2026, growing at an average rate of 2.8% year-on-year since 1999. Poland was the 19th highest importer in 2021, with Italy in the lead at 14.9 million kg. Belgium, France and Malaysia followed as the next three importers. Exports are also projected to grow, reaching 1.5 million kg by 2026, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 3.6% since 2005. In 2021, Poland was the 26th highest exporter with Slovenia leading the way at 1.2 million kg. South Korea, the US and France came in as the next three exporters.
