In 2021, Latvia ranked 24th in exports, with 1.5 million kilograms of potash shipped. South Africa topped the list, with 1.5 million kilograms exported the same year. South Korea, the United States and France followed, with exports of 1.4 million, 1.2 million and 1.1 million kilograms, respectively. Since 1999, Latvian potash imports have seen an average growth of 32.5% per year. In 2018, Latvia ranked 39th in imports, with Hungary leading the list at 2.8 million kilograms. Belgium, France and Malaysia followed, with imports of 1.7 million, 1.1 million and 1.1 million kilograms, respectively.
