Israel’s potash exports dropped 8.9% to 156,000 kilograms in 2021 compared to 171,000 kilograms the year before. The decline was 10.2% since 2005. Colombia topped the list of exporters, with South Korea, the US and France coming in second, third and fourth. Israel’s potash imports are expected to reach 38.5 million kilograms by 2026, down 0.7% from 40.2 million kilograms in 2021. The decrease has been 3.2% annually since 2005. The Netherlands came in first in the 2021 rankings, with Belgium, France and Malaysia coming in second, third and fourth respectively.
