This marks a 100% year-on-year decrease in demand since 2008. On the export front, Malawi's fuel export is projected to reach around 55 cubic meters by 2021. This is a steep decline from the 196 cubic meters recorded in 2016, representing an average annual decrease of 25%. Since 2000, the nation's fuel supply has consistently dropped by approximately 28% each year.
