Despite this upward trend, historical data shows a contrasting pattern. Since 1998, Bosnian fuel demand has experienced a yearly decline of 10.1%. On the export front, Bosnia's fuel shipments are also anticipated to grow, albeit at a slower pace. Fuel exports are forecasted to climb from roughly 713,300 cubic meters in 2023 to about 781,900 cubic meters by 2028. This represents an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. However, similar to imports, Bosnia's fuel supply has faced challenges over the years. Since 1997, the nation’s fuel supply has decreased by an annual rate of 3.2%.
