Lebanese fuel imports are projected to rise significantly, reaching approximately 760 cubic meters by 2028, up from around 520 cubic meters in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 5.9%. Historically, since 1966, the country's demand for fuel has grown at an annual rate of 5.6%. In contrast, Lebanon's fuel exports have completely dried up. By 2020, the country had exported zero cubic meters of fuel, identical to the volume in 2019. Since 2016, Lebanon's fuel supply for export has decreased by 100% year on year.
