Chilean exports of polypropylene are projected to reach 86 million kilograms by 2026, up from 68 million kilograms in 2021. This is an average annual growth rate of 3.6%, with year-on-year increases of 5.9% since 1996. Chile placed 35th in 2021, behind Argentina, who had 68 million kilograms. South Korea, Germany and Singapore were the second, third and fourth largest exporters, respectively. Chilean imports of polypropylene are expected to decrease to 8 million kilograms by 2026, down from 11 million kilograms in 2021. This is a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%, with a 1.9% year-on-year decrease since 1996. Chile placed 80th in 2021, behind Cambodia who had 11 million kilograms. Italy, Germany and Indonesia were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively.
