Zambia's import and export of polypropylene is set to grow significantly in the coming years. In 2021, the country was 62nd in the world for imports, reaching over 28 million kilograms. This was an increase of 0.9% from the previous year. Bolivia overtook Zambia to become the 61st largest importer. Italy, Germany and Indonesia ranked second, third and fourth respectively. For exports, Zambia is set to reach 305,640 kilograms by 2026. In 2021, Zambian exports of polypropylene amounted to 226,020 kilograms, an increase of 4.8% on average from the previous year. Burkina Faso was the 81st largest exporter, and South Korea, Germany and Singapore took the second, third and fourth places.
