Export of polypropylene from Namibia is expected to decline by 15.6% annually on average over the next five years, from 8,590 Kilograms in 2021 to 3,380 Kilograms in 2026. Since 2005, Namibian polypropylene exports have grown by 105.6% year on year. In 2021, the country placed 101st in the global ranking, with Pakistan coming in first at 8,590 Kilograms. South Korea, Germany and Singapore placed second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, the import of polypropylene into Namibia is set to rise by 3% per year on average from 2021 to 2026, from 1,113,900 Kilograms to 1,347,000 Kilograms. Since 2005, demand in the country has jumped by 29.8% year on year. In 2021, Namibia came in 100th in the global ranking, with Cyprus overtaking at 1,113,900 Kilograms. Italy, Germany and Indonesia finished second, third and fourth, respectively.
