Ghana made a remarkable jump in its polypropylene exports in 2018. Nearly 200,000 kilograms of the material were shipped abroad, a 224% increase from the 59,000 kilograms exported in 2017. Since 2005, Ghana's polypropylene exports have increased by nearly 60%, with a total of 5.2 billion kilograms exported in 2018. South Korea, Germany, and Singapore were the top three countries importing the material, in that order.
