Singapore is set to see an increase in polypropylene import and export over the next five years. In 2021, Singapore's polypropylene imports stood at 427.3 million kilograms, putting it in 11th place in terms of global rankings. Pakistan overtook Singapore, coming in at 427.3 million kilograms. Italy, Germany, and Indonesia were the next three largest importers, respectively. Meanwhile, Singapore's polypropylene exports were at 1.07 billion kilograms, making it the fourth-largest exporter, behind Germany which had 1.07 billion kilograms. South Korea, Germany, and Singapore followed in the rankings. On average, polypropylene imports in Singapore are predicted to increase by 2.2% year-on-year from 2021 to 2026, rising from 427.3 million kilograms to 493.3 million kilograms. Export is set to increase by 2.3% year-on-year from 2021 to 2026, from 1.07 billion kilograms to 1.24 billion kilograms. Since 1994, Singapore's polypropylene demand has increased by 1.3% year-on-year and its supply by 2.2% year-on-year.
