Emirati Polypropylene exports are forecast to dip 3.9% year on year to around 300 million kilograms by 2026. This follows a 12.3% decrease since 2012. In 2021, the country was in 13th position, with Malaysia leading the way at 370 million kilograms. South Korea, Germany and Singapore completed the top four. Meanwhile, imports of polypropylene into the UAE are expected to drop by 0.1% year on year and reach 137 million kilograms by 2026. This follows an increase of 3.9% since 2012. Last year, the country ranked 25th, with Thailand at the top with 136 million kilograms. Italy, Germany and Indonesia were the next three.
