Omani whey imports are projected to reach $870 million by 2026, dropping 6.2% year on year. This is a sharp decline from the $1.26 billion recorded in 2021. Since 1994, the demand for whey in Oman has dropped by 30%. From 2004 onwards, however, the supply has grown by 19% each year. At the 2018 rankings, Oman came in 71st place, with the Philippines ahead of them at $61 million. France, Germany and the Netherlands placed second, third and fourth, respectively.
