Uganda has overtaken Armenia to become the 88th largest importer of ammonia in the world. In 2019, Uganda imported $6 worth of ammonia, compared to Armenia's $17,820. This was a huge drop compared to 2018, when Armenia imported $28,470, a decrease of 37.4%. In fact, this was the lowest annual total since 2002, when the country imported $43,720, a massive 58.6% decrease since then. Saudi Arabia, Russia and Indonesia were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
