Mexican fertilizer exports are expected to total 4.2 million metric tons by 2026, a 1.9% decrease from 2021's figures of 4.8 million metric tons. Norway, Belgium, and Finland were the second, third, and fourth largest exporters respectively. Imports of fertilizer into Mexico are projected to reach 169,360 metric tons by 2026, a 1.1% decrease from 2021's figures of 180,790 metric tons. Since 2007, imports have risen by an average of 11.5% each year. In 2021, the country ranked 31st in terms of imports, with Paraguay coming in first with 180,790 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
