The Netherlands ranked seventh in 2021, with Belarus in the lead at 493,000 metric tons. Norway, Belgium, and Finland followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Dutch fertilizer imports are predicted to reach 162,000 metric tons by 2026, a 0.7% drop from 169,000 metric tons in 2021. Since 2007, imports have decreased by 1.3% each year on average. Last year, the Netherlands ranked 32nd, with the United States on top at 169,000 metric tons. Brazil, Spain, and Thailand followed, taking second, third, and fourth places respectively.
