Since 2000, the country's demand for the chemical has seen an 80.8% decrease year on year. Ukraine surpassed Egypt in acrylonitrile imports in 2018, importing 5,650 kilograms. India, South Korea, and Malaysia followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
