Imports of acrylonitrile into Chile are forecast to grow by an average of 1.9% each year over the next five years, reaching almost 274,000 kilograms in 2026. In 2021, Chile imported 243,900 kilograms of acrylonitrile, making it the 32nd largest importer in the world. Israel overtook Chile, making it the 31st biggest importer. India, South Korea and Malaysia were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively. Since 2018, Chilean imports of acrylonitrile have risen by 540%. Over the next five years, imports are expected to grow at an average rate of 1.9% a year, reaching almost 274,000 kilograms in 2026.
