Kazakhstan's imports of acrylonitrile rose 75% in 2018, to seven kilograms. That was up from just four kilograms the year before. Since 2008, however, demand for the chemical in Kazakhstan has decreased by 10.2% year on year. In 2018, the Philippines overtook Kazakhstan with seven kilograms. India, South Korea and Malaysia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
