Algeria's acrylonitrile imports are expected to drop 18.8% by 2026, according to a recent study. The country imported 6.7 million kilograms of the chemical in 2021, placing it at number 63 in the world rankings. Slovakia led the pack with 21 million kilograms, followed by India, South Korea and Malaysia. Since 1997, Algeria has seen an average yearly growth of 16% in its acrylonitrile imports.
