Since 1998, Norwegian demand has grown substantially, with 135.4% year-on-year growth. In 2021, the country ranked 47th in the world for acrylonitrile imports. Oman overtook it at 5,500 kilograms, while India, South Korea and Malaysia were the next three countries on the list.
