Portugal, India, South Korea and Malaysia respectively came in numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Spain is set to experience an increase in the import of acrylonitrile over the next five years. In 2021, the country imported nearly 40 million kilograms of the chemical, up 11% from the year before. Portugal was the largest supplier, followed by India, South Korea and Malaysia. In contrast, Spanish supply of acrylonitrile decreased by 36% in 2018 compared to the year before. Portugal, India, South Korea and Malaysia were the top four suppliers of the chemical. By 2026, Spain is expected to import 46 million kilograms of acrylonitrile, growing at a CAGR of 2.3% from 2021.
