Demand for acrylonitrile in Luxembourg is set to decline by 0.8% annually over the next five years, according to a new report. In 2021, the country's imports of the substance stood at around 93 kilograms, placing it 59th among global importers. This was down 4.5% compared to 2004. The top three importers of acrylonitrile in 2021 were Bosnia and Herzegovina (93 kilograms), India (66 kilograms), and South Korea and Malaysia (both 46 kilograms). By 2026, Luxembourg is projected to reach 88.6 kilograms of acrylonitrile imports.
