Dutch exports of acrylonitrile dropped 17.5% in 2021, to 8.1 million kilograms, compared to 2020. Since 1997, exports have dropped 14.4% year-on-year. Imports of acrylonitrile to the Netherlands are expected to reach 73.3 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.6% year-on-year. Since 1997, imports have risen 14.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Germany was the leading exporter to the Netherlands at 66.5 million kilograms, followed by India, South Korea and Malaysia.
