Iranian imports of acrylonitrile dropped 5.1% in 2021, to 7.5 million kilograms, down from 7.9 million kilograms the previous year. The decrease marks a 14.4% decline since 2002. Thailand led the world in acrylonitrile imports in 2021, with 7.5 million kilograms. India, South Korea and Malaysia followed, ranking second, third and fourth, respectively.
