Burmese imports of acrylonitrile are set to plunge by 20.1% in the five years to 2026. Last year, the country imported 704.95kg of the chemical, down 25.4% from 2015. In 2021, Burmese imports were dwarfed by those of the United Arab Emirates (2,440kg). India, South Korea and Malaysia took second, third and fourth place respectively.
