Filipina imports of acrylonitrile dropped by a dramatic 75.5% in 2018, with only 7.1 kilograms imported compared to 28.97 kilograms in 2017. Since 2001, demand for the chemical in the country has dropped by an even more significant 66.2%. The Philippines was ranked 67th out of the countries in the region in 2018, while Lithuania came in first with 7.1 kilograms. India, South Korea and Malaysia followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
