The UAE is set to import 6,140 kilograms of acrylonitrile by 2026, an increase of 4.7% annually from 2021's 4,650 kilograms. The country has seen a 68% rise in demand since 2012, when it ranked 48th in the world. That year, Egypt was the leader with 4,650 kilograms. India, South Korea, and Malaysia occupied the next three spots. In 2018, the UAE exported 140 kilograms of acrylonitrile, a decrease of 6.7% from 2017's 150 kilograms. Since 2012, the country's supply has decreased by 32.6% year on year.
