Omani imports of acrylonitrile plummeted 33.7% in 2018, down from 12,830 kilograms the year before. It was the 44th largest importer in the world. Ecuador overtook Oman, importing 8,510 kilograms last year. India, South Korea and Malaysia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the same ranking. Since 1999, Omani demand for acrylonitrile has grown by 60%.
