On the sales front, Cuban sweeteners are expected to hit around 580,000 metric tons by 2028, down from 588,000 metric tons in 2023. This equates to a modest annual decrease of 0.2%. Since 2019, the Cuban market for sweeteners has experienced a slight downturn, falling by an average of 0.4% each year.
