Leading the global rankings were Brazil, the United States, and Thailand, respectively occupying the second, third, and fourth spots. On the sales front, Cuban sweeteners are expected to hit around 580,000 metric tons by 2028, down from 588,000 metric tons in 2023. This equates to a modest annual decrease of 0.2%. Since 2019, the Cuban market for sweeteners has experienced a slight downturn, falling by an average of 0.4% each year.
